The room of the Restaurant was perhaps ancient chapel and later. When occupied by the frairs was transformed onto the "Cellar of Spirits" and served by the stills located in the "House of Stills" found in the private area of the convent.

The cuisine has been developed in accordance with the traditional gastronomy of the Alentejo Region. You can taste the distinct flavors of their recipes made with products grown on the estate accompanied by the wines from the Restaurants cellar, which are mostly from the region. And you can end your meal with the traditional desserts originally made from the yolks discarded by the frairs as they used the eggs whites to purify the spirits they produced. In this palatial convent, the noblemen who inhabited them, accustomed to excellent cuisine, left behind the culinary traditions, which the Restaurant try to offer today.
