Besides the Dukes of Palmela, Villa Cascais was the residence of writer Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho and the poet Goçalves Crespo, becoming the cenaculum of period writers, thus adding an aura of dignity and culture to the beauty and harmony of its sober lines. This beautiful house is so much part of Cascais, it’s impossible to imagine the bay without it.
The restaurant with 45 seats in rooms (including a private room for 10 persons) and the 24 seats on the terrace. The white décor sets beautifully off against the bay which it overlooks. The terrace is a marvellous place to just relax and watch the activities in the centre of Cascais and the fishermen’s bay.
The Bar with interior rooms, covered terrace and esplanade opens to the sun and the sea. This elegant and relaxing restaurant is not to be missed by visitors to Cascais.
