Rui is the proud owner of "RUI Marisqueira" in Silves which he opened 26 years ago. Today Rui is well known through out the Algarve for its excellent fresh fish and live shellfish. Situated in the historic and picturesque town of Silves.

As you enter you will see a large choice of excellent seafood and shellfish (lovely big crab and lobsters!) in the aqaurium and vitrine. The full menu also includes Rui¦s Special Steak and every day there are different specials. Excellent Portuguese Cuisine. Often full, so go early. The prices are very reasonable and the service excellent.

Rui has a new bar: Tabik, next to the restaurant where you can enjoy a drink before or after dinner, beautifully restored. This restaurant is a must for lovers of seafood.
